Remodels in older homes, like this Craftsman bungalow, let us blend old and new in ways that delight, while being true to the character of the house. For this project we designed a kitchen with traditional elements like Shaker recessed-panel doors, brass fixtures + cabinet hardware, as well as beautifully restored original fir floors. Mixed with our more contemporary details like the Pigeon Toe chandelier at the peninsula and easy-access floating shelves, this combination creates a dynamic + current environment. For the bathroom, we resurfaced + painted the original clawfoot tub, and chose a whimsical botanical wallpaper which is a modern play on its historic use.
