PORTLAND HEIGHTS MASTER BATH + CLOSET When Kris and Arjan were ready to reimagine their master bath and closet – those all important + sacred spaces of everyday life – we were ready to listen. They wanted modern materials, radiant floor heating + elegant storage for their extensive clothing collections. Most importantly they wanted a place to relax + rejuvenate after long work days + trips to The Netherlands. We delivered an open, accessible layout outfitted in walnut cabinetry, calming stone slab shower surround + flooring laid in a herringbone pattern for a period feel. Our design focused on comfort, with a low shower threshold to be easier on the knees + ankles, as well as customized

PORTLAND HEIGHTS GUEST BATH Less is more, especially in smaller spaces. For this guest bath, simple modern materials with a traditional install + a punchy, patterned marble floor are a perfect fit for a period home. Although this space was primarily designed with visiting relatives in mind, the home owners absolutely love the soaking tub + enjoy it often. It’s a win-win and a look that will age gracefully with the home through the years.

MODERN TUDOR KITCHEN Our clients wanted some modern flair for their kitchen remodel, but also wanted to respect the character of their 1920s Tudor home. We always love finding the perfect balance of old and new! For this project, classic cabinets with brass hardware and a marble backsplash are an ideal backdrop for contemporary accents, including a Saarinen table, Eames chairs, and their eclectic art collection.

SCANDINAVIAN FARMHOUSE Anthony and Lindsay were at a crossroads: sell their home + move into a place more aligned with their current aesthetic tastes, or stay in their home, customizing their main level into a fresh, modern farmhouse. They chose the latter, and brought on Introspecs to refresh the palette. Design scope included all new custom stained flooring, finish surfaces + paint schemes, built-ins, fireplace design, placement of fine art, and furniture + lighting selection. We think the results are cozy and stunning!

QUEEN ANNE CRAFTSMAN Rob and Ann live a modern, fast-paced life with full time careers, 2 kids and a live-in nanny. Cooking and gathering for meals is especially key for their grounding as a family, and they were feeling restricted and frustrated by their inefficient, closed off kitchen + eating area. Introspecs completely redesigned the kitchen, including efficient, well-functioning work zones, raising windows to gain more counter space along the wall while preserving garden views, enlarging the opening to their neighboring dining room, and most importantly, creating a place to eat together as a family. The 2nd level laundry/catch-all room was also going unused and being such a large space in a central traffic zone, we capitalized on

RUSTIC MODERN ADU Homeowners Kristina and Patrick initially hired Introspecs for custom casework and full interior design on their 2-story detached accessory dwelling unit (ADU). The scope quickly grew to full exterior design, space planning, selection of window/door/hardware packages, creative sourcing through Pioneer Millworks of the salvaged 27′ structural ridge-beam and rafters, and full-time project management throughout the construction process. From head to toe, Introspecs and the clients collaborated on bringing this efficient home-2 seconds away-from-home beauty to life! OPEN GALLEY KITCHEN When contacted by Building Blocks for design on client Pam’s funky, angled 50′s-style kitchen, Introspecs immediately envisioned the removal and reorganization of several cabinets, opening up the work space for a galley kitchen. With the goal of uniting the galley kitchen – both visually and spatially – with the adjacent dining room, Introspecs shifted and enlarged the passageway. Introspecs also matched the historic archway at the entry of the dining room to create continuity in architectural details between rooms. Pam regularly hosts friends and family, often late into the evening, so having comfortable seating adjacent to the work zones was a priority. Utilizing “less is more,” Introspecs streamlined the layout, increased functionality in the
